Picking the best cabin on the Royal Caribbean Legend of the Seas

It is helpful to know what to expect from a Royal Caribbean Legend of the Seas cabin when planning a cruise. It also eliminates any surprises once you have boarded the ship. All staterooms are divided among four categories. These would be Suite/Deluxe, Balcony, Outside, and Interior. The Suite/Deluxe category includes all of the luxury staterooms, many with separate bedrooms. These suites range in size from the 236 square foot Junior Suite to the spacious 1020 square foot Royal Suite. Balconies start at 74 square feet, and they go up to 155 square feet. The other three categories are smaller. The Balcony staterooms include the 193 square foot Superior Ocean View Stateroom and the Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom. These both include a 38 square foot balcony. The Outside category has the Panoramic Ocean View Stateroom at 154 square feet and the Large Ocean View Stateroom at 220 square feet. The last category is the Interior. This includes the Superior Interior Stateroom, Large Interior Stateroom, and the standard Interior Stateroom. These rooms average 132 to 149 square feet. Outside and Interior Staterooms have no balconies.

All beds have the Royal Caribbean Bedding Collection. This exclusive line of linens is made in Italy specifically for the Royal Caribbean ships. Mattresses will be either a Royal Mattress or Royal Suite Mattress. Each is topped with a Royal Pillow Top Pad or a Royal Memory Pillow Top Pad. The bed sets include a 300 count Egyptian cotton fitted sheet, flat sheet with the embroidered Royal Caribbean logo, pillowcases, and a duvet with cover. Royal Sweet Dream Pillows and Royal Memory Pillows top the bedding off nicely.

Bed Sizes

The Royal Caribbean Legend of the Seas offers guests a variety of bed sizes. Most standard staterooms feature two twin beds that can be converted into one queen size bed. Many cabins also offer the option of Pullman bed which folds away when not in use. The larger suites with separate bedrooms may include queen size or king size beds along with queen size sofa beds.
