Picking the best cabin on the Carnival PrideFinding the stateroom that is just right for you and your family onboard the Carnival Pride is very important. It can make or break ones vacation. To assure you dont find any unwanted surprises when you open the door to your room, it helps to familiarize yourself with some of the Stateroom dimensions and features. All standard staterooms are seven feet from the floor to the ceiling. Each bathroom measures four feet by six feet. Bathrooms located within the suites are slightly larger at four and a half by seven and a half feet. All doorways are twenty-two inches wide by six foot eight inches high. Standard staterooms measure 185 square feet. The Ocean View with French door or Window Obstructed rooms have a floor to ceiling door and a four foot by three foot window. The Ocean View with Window rooms also have a four by three foot window. Ocean View with Standard Balcony Obstructed rooms have a 40 square foot balcony. The only exceptions would be room 5245 with a 75 square foot balcony and rooms 5236 and 5238, which have 110 square foot balconies. All of them include a four foot by three foot window. The Ocean View with a Standard Balcony rooms have a four by three foot window and a 40 square foot balcony. The Ocean View with Extended Balcony rooms have a 60 square foot balcony. Rooms 6281, 7303, and 8239 have 10 square foot balconies, while rooms 6232, 6234, 7258, 7260, 8232, and 8234 all have a 180 square foot balcony. The Ocean View Aft-view with Extended Balcony rooms have a 60 square foot balcony and a four foot by three foot window. At 230 square foot each, the Ocean View Premium Balcony Obstructed rooms have a 55 square foot balcony and a four by three foot window. The Ocean View Premium Balcony rooms have an 85 square foot balcony and a four by three foot window. Suites are generally larger than the standard staterooms. An Ocean Suite with Large Balcony is 275 square feet with an 85 square foot balcony and four foot by three foot window. Junior Suites with Standard Balconies are 275 square feet with a 40 square foot balcony and a four by three foot window. A Vista Suite with Wrap-around Balcony is 245 square feet with a 220 square foot balcony and a four by three foot window. Topping them all in size is the Grand Suite with Large Balcony. At 300 square feet and a 115 square foot balcony, this room is the most spacious.
BeddingAll beds onboard the Carnival Fantasy are dressed with the exclusive Carnival Comfort Bed ensemble. This includes a 100 percent hypoallergenic duvet and cover, custom pillows, and ultra-fine, ring-spun, satin striped cotton blend pillowcases and mattress set. For those with allergy problems, there is an alternative bedding available. This would include a 100 percent polyester blanket, 60 percent cotton and 40 percent polyester sheet and pillowcase set, and the 100 percent cotton New Generation Pillows. All beds have a six and a half inch spring mattress, except for the trundle beds and rollaway beds.
Bed SizesTwin beds measure 78 inches by 33 inches, and they can be converted into a king size bed. A single sofa bed is 75 inches long by 32 inches wide. Double sofa beds are 81 inches by 55 inches. Trundle beds measure 73 inches by 29 inches with a 250 pound weight limit. Rollaway beds are 75 inches by 29 inches. Upper berths are 78 inches by 33 inches. They come with a 50 inch long by 6 inch high safety rail, as they are 58 inches from the floor. They also have a 250 pound weight limit, and they set 27 inches from the ceiling. Portable cribs are available upon request. These are 38 inches long by 24 inches wide. Crib bumpers and padding are not provided.
Carnival Pride Staterooms are located among six decks.
1101 and 1102 are next to the stairs and an elevator. They may pick up extra noise from the foot traffic nearby. Rooms 1263 and 1265 are by the ships galley. Guests in these rooms could experience higher noise levels during meal preparations and clean up. Room 1240 is closest to the dance club.
4156-4186 and 4204-4224 port side and 4157-4187 and 4209-4231 on the starboard side. Rooms 4226 and 4235 are Junior Suites that have more room than standard staterooms. Extended balconies can be found in cabins 4228 and 4237. These two rooms also include Carnivals V.I.P. check-in. Obstructed views due to lifeboats and tender boats are in rooms 4106-4154 and 4188-4202 port side and 4105-4155 and 4189-4207 on the starboard side. Both 4203 and 4205 are located near elevators, and they may pick up extra noise from foot traffic. The staterooms that include a shower and whirlpool tub combination are 4226, 4228, 4235, and 4237.
5102 and 5101 are next to Camp Carnival. This is a plus for families with small children, but older guest may want to take the noise into consideration. Extended balconies are found in rooms 5108-5130 port side and 5107-5131 starboard. Staterooms with standard unobstructed balconies are 5240-5262 port side and 5247-5289 starboard. Rooms 5264 and 5293 are roomier than most. Rooms 5266 and 5295 are Prime Vista Suites with extended balconies. Obstructed views are found in cabins 5142-5238 port side and 5143-5245 starboard. Staterooms 5241 and 5243 are closest to the elevators. Shower and whirlpool tub combinations are included in rooms 5264, 5266, 5293, and 5295.
6260 and 6329. Rooms 6159-6211are not as large, but they are on the same hallway as the Grand Suites and Ocean Suites. Grand Suites with the shower and whirlpool tub combination are 6178, 6180, 6182, 6207, 6215, and 6217. Suites 6154, 6156-6158, 6160, 6162-6164, 6166-6168, 6170, 6172-6176, 6181, 6183, 6185, 6189, 6195, 6197, 3203, 3258, 6260, 6327, and 6329 also have this shower and tub combination. Cabin 6182 is fully accessible for wheelchair users and has a roll in shower without the whirlpool tub.
7246-7260 and 7258-7206 port side and 7157-7237 and 7277-7303 on the starboard side. Cabins that are roomier / slightly larger in addition to having extended balconies are 7298 and 7347. Cabins 7258 and 7260 have larger balconies than others. Rooms 7299 and 7301 may pick up noise from the nearby elevators. Staterooms with a shower and whirlpool tub combination are 7296, 7298, 7345, and 7347.
8138-8186 and 8220-8234 port side and 9131-8185 and 8221-8239 starboard. The largest rooms and balconies on this deck would be 8268 and 8273. Both 8235 and 8237 are closest to the elevators. Cabins with a shower and whirlpool tub combination are 8266, 8268, 8271, and 8273.
